I thought it would be fun to share what I am putting in my green smoothies as of late. I always like to switch it up but this is what I'm loving right now!
I always use some frozen banana to make my smoothies extra creamy. I will typically cut them up and put them in the freezer on Sundays so they are ready for the week! Then I have been throwing in some frozen peaches and a handful of berries. I switch up between blueberries, strawberries or just the mixed berry bag shown in this picture. Then I toss in a handful of spinach and a scoop of chia seeds. I love using either vanilla almond milk or unsweetened coconut milk. Sometimes I put in a little scoop of greek yogurt and protein powder but since I usually share these smoothies with my 1 year old I don't always add the protein powder.
I like to make my smoothies extra thick and put them in a bowl with granola and honey on top. Sometimes I will go the extra mile and cut up more fruit and put it on top for extra yumminess.
