Friday Favorites

Jess and I have had a CRAZY week so we apologize for our absence here on the bloggy blog. Sometimes life just gets in the way and there is no time for life updates. I am currently in the process of moving (kill me now) Nothing worse than moving if you ask me. But I am beyond excited that Jantz and I's first home is finally done! Decorating here I come!

1. Gap is having a pretty awesome sale right now on their Body line and these sweats are calling my name. And for $24.00 why not? Get on my legs!

2. I love gap leggings, they are so amazingly comfy and fit me just right. Can't beat the price on these babies right now!

3. I am kind of loving this Anthro cardigan right now and its 25% off... so there's that.

4. Also in the Anthropologie sales section, this adorable necklace that is so freakin cute, this would go with so many things in my closet right now.

5. I may be getting a little ahead of myself on this one but my friend sent me a pic of this the other day and I so want it! I don't always go for the one piece but this one is just so stinkin cute. I love how they break it up with the different colors and patterns.

Happy Friday!

Friday Favorites

1. Oysterbooks.com is basically the best thing to happen to bookworms. Like Netflix, for a small monthly fee you have unlimited access to over a million books. It's great for people like me who would go bankrupt buying all the books I want to read, and a lot easier than having to run to your local library. Its definitely a game changer.
2. Friends came to Netflix last month. I know this is old news, but I'm watching the series for the first time and loving it. It cracks me up more than any show I have watched in a long time.
3. withHeart.com is my favorite design blog. Her credentials are super impressive, her designs are gorgeous and original, and her blog has taken off like wildfire. Check her out!
4. If you missed Ellen meeting Macey Hensley, you are missing out. The little girl is a genius and has memorized everything about every American president. Check out her interview with Ellen if you want to laugh really hard.
5. I'm sure you have seen #kaylamovement somewhere on your social media. You definitely need to check out Kayla Itsines. Her workouts are amazing and basically guaranteed to transform your body. I plan on starting her 12 week program next month and I'm so pumped!

House Update!

Now that my first home is almost finished I thought I would share a few sneak peeks of some of the details! I was pushing the electrician out of the way to get most of these shots. We are having our final walk through inspection on Friday to make sure everything is up to city standard, and at that point we can move in if they give us the all clear! We are so excited after what has seemed like forever, to finally move in and make this place our home.
Lets not talk about that fact that I have only packed up one box of things in my apartment..

Wish me luck,

Valentine's Day Inspiration

I always get so excited about Valentine's Day because what could be better than a day devoted to celebrating love? I just have to tell you, one thing I have been loving lately is how flipping talented you all are. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not inspired by your creativity, passion, and of course fashion. Today I'm sharing some of the Valentine's Day ideas I have been inspired by lately!

1. Burlap Heart Banner: Can someone please make me this. Or at least force me to make myself one. I've been obsessing over this for a few years now.

2. This float looks like pure Valentine perfection.

3. Do these cakes not look like the yummiest things ever. Raspberry Buttercream...yummmm!

4. Heart Envelopes. You have got to be kidding. This is basically the best idea ever.

5. This looks like the yummiest Valentine's Day breakfast ever..except maybe for this recipe that we shared earlier this week;)

6. I love this canvas idea, and I can't wait until Danica and I try it!

7. These fortune cookies are about the cutest things ever.

8. Really loving these mason jar vases. These look like they would be such a great and simple DIY project!

9. This modge podge heart art has basically stolen my heart. So cute!

10. This Valentine's makeup tutorial is pure perfection.

Friday Favorites

1. I just bought this lipliner last week and I am in love. It sharpens every time you screw on the cap so you always have the perfect point to use on your lips.

2. I am obsessing over blush colors lately! When I saw this Rebecca Minkoff purse I knew it needed to go on my list of things to save for! Hopefully next month it will find its way into an outfit post.

3. These sunglasses are so gorgeous! I still have no idea how they are going to look on me, but a girl can hope for the best right?

4. This romper has me dreaming of warmer temperatures. Sky and I are trying to plan a trip to somewhere sunny soon, and this would be the perfect beach cover-up!

5. I want this dress to wear for my Valentine's Day date with Sky. There are a million colors to choose from, but this pink dress seriously has me drooling.

6. I know the movie this song is on the soundtrack for is very controversial (and I'm not encouraging you to watch it in any way), but this song is perfection so you should listen to it.

XOXO,
